NLD: RE-BIRTH OF THE REVOLUTION

U Kyi Win (left) an elected member of parliament for the NLD in the 1990 general election, was first arrested in 1988 due to his involvement in the mass uprising. He was arrested in 1998 along with hundreds of NLD members and other MPs when the CRPP was being formed and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He continues to work for the NLD in Rangoon
