Ko Sunny, a photographer and cameraman, was arrested in 1997 and sentenced to 7 years in prison for his part in making a video of an interview Aung San Suu Kyi and smuggling it out of the country. He was released in 2004 and has now returned to his role as a photographer and cameraman for Aung San Suu Kyi.
Zaw Zaw, an English teacher from Mandalay, was arrested in September 2009. He is currently serving a 5-year sentence in Bhamo prison.
