Moe Myint has been arrested on 4 occasions spending more than 12 years in Insein prison for his wide ranging political activities and involvement in protests, from the 1975 student uprisings through to the Saffron Revolution in 2007. He was finally forced to flee Burma in 2008 and lives on the Thai-Burma border.
Tun Tun Win, a member of the 88 Generation Students, was arrested in December 2007 for his involvement during the Saffron Revolution. He is currently detained in Mergui prison.
