Thein Aung Kyaw, a member of the ABFSU and Workers College Union was arrested for his involvement in the mass uprising in 1988. He was jailed for 4 years in Insein and Tharawaddy prisons before being released in 1994. He has since resettled to the USA.
Myo Min Naing, a fellow member of the ABFSU, was arrested in 2009. He is still detained with Burma's prison system but there are no details of his exact whereabouts.
